Viacom18 has raked in 29 awards at Promaxbda India 2018 Awards with the network’s kids entertainment, youth entertainment and English entertainment clusters. MTV picked up 12 golds and four silvers, while Sonic, VOOT, COLORS INFINITY, Rishtey Cineplex, and Comedy Central picked up one gold apiece. Comedy Central, VOOT, and Sonic received seven silvers amongst them, while Viacom18 Motion Pictures won one silver for Toilet – Ek Prem Katha in the Best Integrated Marketing Campaign (in-house) category.
The winning campaigns for MTV ranged from the World Aids Day PSA as the Best Public Service Announcement, to their brand ident being the best on-air Ident design (in-house). Promotional content created for shows like The Big F and Troll Police was appreciated just as well as special promotional content like their popular Blood Donation and Mukka Maar campaigns.
Superkid Shiva was the winner all the way from Sonic with one gold and three silvers in various categories like the Best Children’s Promo, Best CG Animation, and Best Image Promo, among others. Viacom18’s English cluster was right up there with Comedy Central picking up one gold for its Valentine’s Day campaign along with two silvers and COLORS INFINITY winning the Gold for its Eat@8 campaign.
VOOT, Viacom18’s OTT platform won one gold for being the Best Online/VoD Service Promo and two silvers in the Best Image Campaign (out-of-house) and Best Sponsor/Brand Integration Spots categories. Rishtey Cineplex picked up the gold in the best marketing video/sizzle reel/sneak peek presentation category for its promo of Dangal’s premiere.
