Samsung Electronics has released a new brown version of the Samsung Cube Air Purifier, seeking to expand local sales.
The company said the new color adds to the previous options of silver and white, which went on sale in February. It said the new brown version gives the product a wood-like look.
The Cube air purifier was recognized by the British Allergy Foundation and the US Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers for its performance in eradicating fine dust and substances that causes allergies, Samsung said.
The tech giant said its high-end filter can remove 0.3-micrometer particles, whereas the standard is 2.5 micrometers for fine particles.
The price tag on the small edition is 1 million won (USD 882), with the larger version being available at 2 million won. — The Investor
