“This festive season, I expect revenues to increase by 25 percent over 2020.

Demand for large-screen TVs is higher than in previous years. Most shoppers’ first preference now seems to be for 43-inch TVs, and 32-inch TV sets are making a gradual exit.

Since the pandemic, companies have been reluctant to allocate any budgets for marketing initiatives. This year, there have been no marketing schemes or dealer incentives. In fact, in September 2021, demand has far exceeded supply and almost 70 percent of the customers had to be disappointed with no availability of products in our showrooms.

Our experience in the pandemic has been that given the erratic supplies, brands preferred to sell through retail outlets rather than online.”

Brands sold: Sony, Samsung, realme, Mi, Lloyds, and BPL
