The HQ is home to Daikin’s training academy, AHU factory and flagship experience centre, and is the new base of operations for 250 staff members across sales and operational departments.
Since first opening its doors in the Middle East 13 years ago, Daikin has grown its MEA market share to around $300million.
“Daikin MEA has grown to become the market leader in the region, and this has been made possible by the dedication and commitment demonstrated by our trusted employees and partners on a daily basis over a long period of time,” said Tuna Gulenc, vice president of sales at Daikin MEA.
Daikin is best known for its VRV system; a split air conditioner that utilises variable refrigerant flow (VRF) control developed in-house.
The system allows customers the ability to maintain individual zone control in each room and floor of a building.
The company boasts increased seasonal efficiency of up to 28% when compared to other solutions, and says signature auto-cleaning units increase savings by up to 50% when compared to standard cassettes and concealed ceiling units. MEP
