A magazine published by an Australian consumer advocacy group gave top grades to LG Electronics Inc.’s artificial intelligence-based organic light-emitting diode (OLED) televisions, the tech company said Monday.
In a recent review by CHOICE magazine, published by the Australian Consumers Association, two LG OLED TV AI ThinQ models received the highest mark with 86 points each. LG’s AI platform, ThinQ, allows users to activate TVs or appliances via voice command.
LG Electronics said it has also won the prize of Best Brand TV for the third year in a row.
All of LG’s 21 TV models all received an average of 80 points, the company said. LG Electronics is the only company to have achieved such high scores across the board.
In a statement, LG Electronics said it aims to lead the premium TV market in the global market with annual sales of 2.5 million OLED TVs this year and 9.35 million units in 2022. – Yonhap News
