Kodak HD LED TV has resumed sales of its affordable Dolby vision Android certified 4K TVs, including the recently launched Kodak CA series through Amazon India and Flipkart across Red, Orange, and Green Zones in the country. Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd — the exclusive brand licensee for Kodak TVs in India — on Saturday made the announcement and said it was resuming manufacturing under strict guidelines amid the fourth phase of COVID-19 induced lockdown.
“As we resume TV sales across the country, we are partnering with e-commerce channels which reduce touchpoints and help deliver safe and hygienic products to the consumers. We are amongst the few Indian companies in TV manufacturing and are proud of our legacy,” Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO-Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd., said in a statement.
Kodak TV will sell its latest CA series in the country starting at Rs 23,999. Available in 43 inch, 50 inch, 55 inch and 65 inch variants, these bezel-less TVs are equipped with an array of features such as Dolby Vision, 4k HDR10, Android 9.0 interface, Dolby Digital plus with DTS TruSurround, and multiple connectivity options with USB 3.0, HDMI ARC/CEC and Bluetooth v.5.0.
The remote has dedicated hotkeys for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Google Play Store that brings entertainment at fingertips. It is also equipped with Google Assistant for smooth navigation.
“1.3 million households in India do not have a television, which is a huge untapped market. We have ensured that our factories are equipped with strict safety precautions including human sanitisation machines, physical distancing between our workers, frequent sanitisation, masks, and protective gear amongst others, to deliver safe and hygienic products to the consumers,” Times Now
