Innolux has reported increased revenues for October, thanks to increased shipments of complete TV sets and small- and medium-size LCD modules despite decreases in panel shipments.
The company posted revenues of USD 24.9 billion (USD 807.9 million) for October, up 2.1 percent on month and 0.6 percent on year.
Shipments of large-size panels totaled 10.58 million units in October, down 4.1 percent sequentially. Meanwhile, shipments of small- to medium-size panels reached 19.78 million units, decreasing 11.6 percent on month.
In addition to ramping up shipments of TVs and module products, the company has also modified its production lines and product mix to cope with dwindling panel demand in the traditional off-peak season in the fourth quarter, according to company sources. — DIGITIMES
