India And China Tie Up For Electronics And Smart Appliances Exhibition In Delhi

Pragati Maidan hosted the first edition of India International Electronics & Smart Appliances Exhibition 2018 (IEAE). That ongoing expo is an event for manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and sellers in electronics like TV, mobile phones, household items and electric decorative items.

The expos is supported by CMAI association, PHD Chambers, Indo-African Chamber of Commerce, Indo-Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industries, National Apex Chamber, FAIITA, PCAIT, GECC and THEISTIC.

Not only new startups and small scale companies but also big sharks in the field of home electronics and smart home appliances marked their presence with the expected launches in ‘Living, Giving and Home’ sector. They showcased the first look of many of their products too.

The event has three product categories such as ‘Consumer Electronic and Audio’ (mobile phone and accessories, computer accessories, digital devices, speaker & sound box, professional audio, home theatre system, karaoke player and microphone), ‘Home Appliance and Lighting’ (electronic kitchen items, fans, LED indoor lighting, construction lighting) and ‘Home System’ (lighting control system, home appliances control system and home cabling).

Inaugurated by RK Pathak, Deputy Director General,Dept of Telecom (Ministry of Communication) and Shyamlal Ghosh, IAS retired Chairman Telecom Export Promotion Council (TEPC) the event also witnessed the presence of Prof NK Goyal President, CMAI association of India, Anil Prakash (ITU), Vimal Wakhlu, Former Chairman and MD TCIL Govt of India, Alok Gupta, Founder & Director Uninstal System Pvt Ltd and President of PCAIT, Champakraj Gurjar, President of FAIITA and Lius Yu Feng, Vice President of China Electronic Chamber of Commerce (CECC), Yao Rongcheng, ChairmanGECC.

“Telecom sector has a rapid growth in various sectors of the Indian economy and world in the last few years which has made it to be the world’s 2nd largest telecom network with more than 1.2 billion connections and about 93 teledensity. In fact, there is approx. USD 20 billion import of telecom equipment in India. Also, this expo is a good platform for building the relation between India and China even stronger. The three long day event has given room to more than 60 companies from China, to showcase and feature their new products which would act as an eye candy for the buyers throughout the wide range of Electronics and smart home Appliances and supported,” says Rajesh Kr Pathak, Deputy Director General, Dept of Telecom (Ministry of Communication).

“A show like this provides opportunity to different stake holders for development of trade and commerce, and manufacturing in electronics sector. It is the perfect platform for innovators, design engineers and implementation engineers to amalgamate with manufactures, traders and institutional buyers” said Yao Rongcheng, Chairman, and GECC.

Dignitaries discussed on the two seminars – Roadmap to making an electronic components manufacturing hub and Manufacturers — Challenges & Opportunities ahead for Indian Chanel in “Make-in India”. An MOU has been signed between GECC Yao Rongcheng, Chairman, and FAIITA Champakraj Gurjar-President and GECC Yao Rongcheng, Chairman and CMAI NK Goyal, President, for the business development between the two countries.— DBPOST
