Happy Birthday Google, 20 years young! You have been in our lives for two whole decades and how you have transformed them!
Google’s story is a recognizable one: Two Stanford doctoral understudies, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, built up an arrangement of calculations that in 1998 started a good lord jump in Web-seek execution. Essentially, they transformed pursuit into a fame challenge. Notwithstanding checking an expression’s appearance on a Web page, as different motors did, it evaluated significance by tallying the number and significance of different pages that connected to that page.
Brin is now the president of Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc, and as of June 2018 and is the 10th richest person in the world. Meanwhile, Larry Page is now the Chief Executive of Alphabet Inc, and is the ninth richest person in the world.
Google owns more than 200 companies, spanning a range of fields including TV, advertising and even robotics. Some of the big-name companies owned by Google include Google Maps, AdSense, YouTube and DoubleClick.
To celebrate the landmark, Google has created a special Google Doodle, which explores the most popular searches over the last two decades. Google has also launched a new Insights tracker, revealing the most popular searchers over the last 20 years. – TV Veopar Journal Bureau
