Early January 2020, the Korean health and home electronics brand NUC Electronics signed a Brand Cooperation Contract with long-time CE China premium partner Suning Group. The two companies will integrate their respective advantages and cooperate in product development, channel marketing, brand promotion and supply chain operations to jointly create a new retail model for home appliances in the era of smart retail.
Reunion at CE China 2019 in Guangzhou
In September 2019, NUC Electronics joined CE China – a global IFA event – in Guangzhou. “We expect to improve our brand awareness more than last year in order to make it lead to sales”, said Jisu Lim, China Director of NUC Electronics.
At the same time, Chinese retail giant Suning showcased its latest smart home innovation Biu+ Ecology at CE China and presented itself as partner of IFA Retail University. After signing the strategic cooperation agreement with Suning in the past July, NUC once again extended its image by utilizing the 20-minute “Power Briefing” at the IFA Retail University in front of Suning and other leading pan-Asian retailers.
Further Expansion into the Chinese Market
According to Mr. Lim, CE China is one of the crucial steps, that made NUC and Suning strengthen their determination to jointly focus on the Chinese market. “This year’s CE China was an opportunity for the Kuvings brand to strengthen its position in the Chinese market”, said Mr. Lim, adding, “we will continue our effort to grow into a global general home appliance manufacturer based on our localization strategy in the Chinese market”.
