Both the demand and production of electronics is expected to grow at a CAGR of 41 percent to USD 400 billion and 27 percent to USD 104 billion, respectively by 2020, courtesy the government’s support towards electronics industry under Make in India initiative.
Dixon’s OEM and ODM business model has helped to build up a leading position in India with nine state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and an optimum production capacity for all products.
The company has received recognition for its R&D center in Noida from Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. The TV factory is situated at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, only 140 km from Chennai Port and 4 km from Tirupati Airport. The factory is strategically located with a logistics advantage for entire South, parts of western and adjoining markets of eastern region of India market for a lower cost of labor and other overheads, manpower cost is lowest in Tirupati across South India.
To effectively manage the supply chain, the company has a sufficient warehousing facility of total 80,000 sq. ft. in Tirupati for TVs and 40,000 sq. ft. in Dehradun for washing machines.
